SNAP saves lives by preventing the births of millions of unwanted puppies and kittens destined for miserable lives. We save lives by keeping these unwanted animals from overwhelming animal shelters and rescue groups and allowing them to focus instead on the animals already in need. We save lives by vaccinating against preventable diseases.
We change the lives of animals by getting them the care they need, removing the hormonal urges and behaviors that diminish the bond between the animals and their humans, and helping them remain with the families who love them, but might not otherwise be able to afford proper care. We change the lives of people by empowering them to be part of the solution to animal overpopulation.
